Biography- Teddy Anderson
  Teddy Anderson graduated from Maxwell International Baha'i School highest award that
where he recieved the Maxwell has to offer, the
Eagle Award. The Eagle award is given to students who demonstrate
outstanding scholarship, citizenship, character and service.
At age 15, Teddy began his hoop dance training under the careful guidance of Scott Ward,
a native Saulteaux trained in the traditional art of the hoop dance.
Beginning with 9 hoops, Teddy's love for the art grew into a passion,
his ability rapdily increased to master 30 hoops.
Most recently Teddy joined a youth workshop which
provided him the opporunity to acquire his skills while performing in
over 10 countries.
Teddy's cultural background is very interesting. He is not native himself but has been adopted into the Tlingit Tribe as a crow Indian. Teddy's mother is Turkamen and his father is a descendent
of Europe. The rich cultural history in his life gives him the
motivation to spread this message of the oneness of humanity.
The experience of seing Teddy dance is life
changing. Combining the traditional native hoop dance with a 21st
century message he reaches into your heart and imprints a message of
unity.
